Please note that failure to supply mandatory documentation may mean that you miss the deadlines for scholarship consideration. It may also result in administrative withdrawal of your application.
Applications that do not satisfy the first 2 of these criteria will be marked as incomplete, and will not be assessed until all required documentation is provided.
Once applicants meet all of these criteria they will be shortlisted for consideration in the first available scholarship round for that intake, noting the following conditions:
In round 1, only applicants who have an offer for Semester 1, 2017 will be shortlisted for consideration by the Graduate Scholarships Committee. (Successful scholarship applicants in round 1 will be required to commence studies by 30 June 2017).
In round 2, applicants who have an offer for semester 1 or semester 2, 2017 will be shortlisted for consideration by the Graduate Scholarships Committee. (Successful scholarship applicants in round 2 will be required to commence studies by 31 August 2017; however if the applicant only holds an offer for admission for the semester 1 intake s/he will be required to commence studies by 30 June 2017).
In round 3, only applicants who have an offer for Semester 2, 2017 will be shortlisted for consideration by the Graduate Scholarships Committee. (Successful scholarship applicants in round 3 will be required to commence studies by 30 November 2017).
Applicants shortlisted and unsuccessful in a round will automatically be considered in one consecutive scholarship round only (provided that they hold a valid offer of admission for that intake). Applicants will not be able to defer scholarship reconsideration to a later round.
Once a scholarship application has been considered in 2 consecutive rounds they will be ineligible for reconsideration in any future international research scholarship rounds at the University of Adelaide.
